Ranmoor Ladies v's Ecclesfield - 8th Oct 12

Following the departure of previous team regulars Philippa and Sarah over the summer (sniff), last night saw a new look Ranmoor Ladies team start the season at home against Ecclesfield. However, with strong new additions to the team - Cat and Cindy - Ranmoor were hopeful of a good result.

And so it proved - with Ranmoor Ladies exhibiting a ruthless display (complete with full warm-up routines and testing the shuttle, thanks Coach Dave H!) to complete the win in record time, 9-0. All three pairs played well - special mention to new Ladies team pairing of Helen and Jane who comfortably took all three points. 

Our thanks for the support of club members there on the night - particularly Sam for the enormous Galaxy bar and to Sam, Rich W and Dave W for the impromptu Mexican waves (see our Facebook page for video evidence of this!). 

Lets hope the team can go one better this season and win the league - 1 down, 11 matches to go!!
